Do not stay here, keep driving! some of the staff are extremely rude. Way over priced for the accommodation. They rely on the location, We paid but left as the bar lady was busy talking about us to anyone that listened. The only thing we did was ask if we could check in early because of an overnight international flight. It was a total disappointment as the people in the town were so friendly. The hotel at the falls 100 times better value and nicer staff.

A cozy comfortable B&B run by a husband & wife team who are passionate about their accommodation and put their own nice touches to the place. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and there is a guest hall upstairs with fresh cakes and tea/coffee. Breakfast is exceptional in both the spread and the generosity, and there is even a special item which changes daily. Lynette is very helpful, warm and welcoming and her passion makes a big difference to a great stay.

We were looking for a traditional B&B to stay at, on our way north. This place fits the bill perfectly. It is in a charming location in the Yorkshire Dales. Mary is a great host and made sure our stay was very comfortable. She cooked us a delicious full English breakfast in the morning. We didn't have much time there as we were travelling, but we were able to fit in a short walk down to the suspension bridge on the river Wharf and tea at the local tearoom. A very enjoyable interlude.

Grassington is a very popular pretty village located in the Yorkshire Dales park. The village has been made famous by the filming of All creatures, great and small. It Has plenty of good bars, restaurants and eateries. Parking is a bit tight during summer periods. If you wish to stay in the area I would suggest to book early.

Wonderful village with excellent amenities and ideal for scenic walks followed by food! great range of cafes, pubs, hotels, fish and chips and a variety of shops. Only slight niggle is the parking is slightly expensive at £3.50 for 2 hrs or £5.50 all day - although card machines were easy to use. There is limited free parking in the village itself but limited to 2 hrs and generally full

Grassington is a lovely place & well worth a visit.
Grassington is a lovely place & well worth a visit. There are pubs, restaurants & cafes, all of which are of a very good standard. It's small & quaint and a great base for walking from. It's great!
Friendly and helpful staff
Hotel right in the middle of Grassington. Good base for seeing the dales.
Spacious and comfortable room with view over the marketplace. The flower boxes outside the window were a nice touch. Had blooms even in february.
The first night in the bar saw an impromptu collection of guitarists jamming together. We enjoyed singing along.
The second night was an old fashioned paper quiz which we also enjoyed.
Nice pies, we had mince and onion.
Civilised breakfast times 8-10am!
Lynette and Dave are lovely hosts and their B&B is all you can wish for: delicious breakfast and a cosy atmosphere. It was all very clean and it's really about the little bits and pieces that make this place so special. You can feel that Lynette and Dave put a lot of work, effort and joy into it.
It's located maybe a 5 minutes walk from the river and maybe 10 minutes walk from Grassington with its pubs, little shops, etc.
It is a beautiful place and a good one to explore the Yorkshire Dales.

Lovely, friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed. They were easy going and accommodating, even sorting us out with bar meals at the end of service when we hadn't organised a table in the restaurant. The food was very good and the ambience of both restaurant and bar area are very inviting. Bed was very comfy too. Managed to park in square by returning to village towards the end of the day- it was very busy at the height of summer holidays!
Absolutely fabulous location. The room was beautiful and clean, lovely decor, well designed with everything you could possibly need. We had the garden room which had its own door leading out into the garden, which had wonderful views of the Yorkshire Dales. The hosts were welcoming on arrival, a warm wonderful breakfast was delivered to our room daily at a time that suited us. Nothing more I can add other than perfect.. Will definitely be visiting again..
Being in the heart of the charming village of Grassington while it was being converted to "Darroby" for the filming of All Creatures (TV series) was amazing, made all the more wonderful by the amazing staff and amenities of the Devonshire! Great room with old beamed ceiling and beautifully appointed bath. Dinner and breakfast were both exceptional!
Great location, village at grasslington exceed my expectation's. Great places to eat and lots of local shops that deserve our support. Lots of local walks.
The guest house is good for a short stay on your way through Yorkshire dales.
Best selection of tea coffees, hot chocolate we have been provided. Free parking always a good perk
Relaxed Yorkshire ambience. Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities, and 2 bottles of water.
Also, managed to get a free parking space in the market square. Try that before going to the car parks because it’s much closer to the pub hotel for lugging your luggage there.
Perfectly placed for what we wanted...the Dickensian Market. Unfortunately it was cancelled because of Covid, but there was a Xmas market and we enjoyed our visit to Grassington regardless.
The hotel was clean, beautifully equipped and the room was very comfortable. Also the staff were very attentive and efficient.
great cottage just a short walk out of the centre.
good size for 4 adults.
loads of parking space.
we loved the garden which was enclosed for our two dogs. also lovely patio to sit and enjoy the amazing views.
had a lovely time and will definitely be going again 👍
Great location with a number of local walks from the village. Our room and bed were comfortable and we appreciated the fresh milk for our tea each day. All the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, and we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner each day.
The location was excellent with great parking and very central to the village. We also had tea, coffee and biscuits in the room to use. The place was very clean with easy access to the room with a virtual check-in.
Everything was perfect for a short break in the Yorkshire Dales, couldn't have asked for more. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the host was nice and breakfast was delicious (especially the sausages)
The hotel was in the heart of Grassington, the food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast was excellent (albeit the service was a bit all over the place).
The hotel was an excellent base for hiking up to Malham and Malham Tarn. We had some lovely walks and visited the pubs in Grassington. Just a short drive awayxx
